  The original members who formed Sugar Cane Growers
Cooperative of Florida had in common a pioneering spirit, love for
the land and willingness to work hard to provide for their families.
The Cooperative they helped to build is the vehicle that will allow
them to pass on the farming operations for generations to come. Alone
they each knew the difficulties of enduring drought, freezes, floods
and hurricanes and recognized the value of joining together to
face the challenges and burdens of harvesting, processing and selling
sugar. Their vision of collective strength and cooperative success
will provide the opportunities to continue the proud farming traditions
for many years to come. |
